Info

Andre Dow, better known as Mac Minister, is a rapper from the Bay Area. Unfortunately, he gained notoriety for his involvement in the murder of Kansas City rappers Anthony "Fat Tone" Watkins and Jermaine "Cowboy" Akins in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May 2005. Mac Minister was featured on an episode of America's Most Wanted, where he was accused of killing Anthony "Fat Tone" Watkins as an act of retaliation for the murder of Bay Area hip-hop legend Mac Dre. Despite evading authorities for 10 months, he was eventually captured by the FBI on March 2, 2006, in a San Francisco apartment. This capture was a result of the efforts made by America's Most Wanted, marked as AMW Direct Result Capture #879. Following a brief trial, he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on July 31, 2008.

During his career as an artist, Mac Minister primarily worked within the underground music scene. He released one album titled The Minister of Defense, and collaborated with notable artists such as E-40, Mac Mall, and Mac Dre.
