Johnny Burns (February 2, 1979 - July 4, 2000), better known by his stage name Mausberg, was an American rapper from Compton, California. He was a protege of famed West Coast hip hop producer and rapper DJ Quik, whom he met at a local concert in 1997.
Burns made his debut on the single "Down, Down, Down" from DJ Quik's 1998 album Rhythm-al-ism. Burns released a compilation album, The Konnectid Project Vol. 1, with Suga Free, which featured numerous fellow West Coast artists. Burns made a high-profile feature on No Limit Top Dogg by Snoop Dogg.
Mausberg was mugged, shot and killed in his hometown on July 4, 2000, a day before his solo debut album was to be completed. The album, Non Fiction, was released posthumously later that same year.
